Your Data Storage
All your work data (hours, projects, notes) is stored exclusively on your device.
iCloud Sync (Optional):
- You can optionally enable iCloud sync to backup your data and sync across your devices
- When enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- We have no access to this data whatsoever
- You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings
- When disabled, your data remains only on your local device
Your data remains completely private and under your control, whether stored locally or in your iCloud account.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for:
- App Improvement - Understanding which features are used to improve the app
- Technical Support - Diagnosing crashes and performance issues
- Purchase Management - Processing and managing your in-app purchases and subscriptions

Security Measures
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Anonymous analytics (cannot be linked to you personally)

- Purchase history: Retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes) and managed by Apple and RevenueCat

Work Counter is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
In-App Purchases
Purchase Processing
All in-app purchases are processed through:
- Apple App Store: Handles payment processing (we never see your payment details)
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and entitlements

Subscription Data
Your subscription data is shared between:
- Apple - Processes payments and manages subscriptions

All subscription data is encrypted and transmitted securely.
Analytics and Tracking
We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused analytics:
- Anonymous: No personal information is collected
- No tracking: We don't track you across other apps or websites
- Feature usage only: We only see which features are used, not who uses them
International Data Transfers
Analytics data is processed by TelemetryDeck (Germany) and RevenueCat (USA), both of which are GDPR compliant. Your work data remains on your device and optionally in your iCloud account, which may be stored in various Apple data centers depending on your location.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
